The CAPL Book Club

The CAPL Book Club meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 12:00 noon
You are invited to bring lunch or a snack.
Discussions usually last between 60 and 90 minutes.
Copies of each title will be available for checkout at the Library three weeks before the discussion.
Titles are chosen by the participants.

May Book Club

The title for May is The Wager by David Grann

From the author of Killers of the Flower Moon, a page-turning story of shipwreck, survival, and savagery, culminating in a courtmartial that reveals a shocking truth.  The powerful narrative reveals the deeper meaning of the events on the Wager, showing that it was not only the captain and crew who ended up on trial, but the very idea of empire.

Copies of the book can be checked out from the Coatesville Library.  New members are always welcome!
